Equiscot
Welcome to out horses...
...and ponies
We are a family run horse yard in Scotland. We breed and produce horses and ponies for pleasure, not profit.
We have a selection of horses and ponies the quality and ability of which has taken many years - and heart-breaking decisions - to ensure.
Please visit our pages for results to date. If anything interests you, and assuming you can provide a home to ensure mutual satisfaction, then please contact us for further information - we will consider selling to continue the horse's advancement.
If not, then thank you for your passing interest in our passion.

'Clippy is a 128cms, 15 yr-old JC gelding and has been with us for two years, in which he and Xander have formed a formidable partnership.
Numerous red ribbons and sashes, this pony is superb against the clock.
Last season alone he has won over £2200 actual, and is the 2011 Scottish points champion in both the 70cm and 80cm leagues.
Little Ferrari of a pony, with exceptional character and nature.
He is currently jumping (and winning) 90cms Opens, 128/138 handicap classes. and jumping double clears around 1m tracks.

'Star' is a 9 yr-old, 128cms JD mare
She has been with us for over two years and is now begining to show super form. She has even beaten her stablemate 'Clippy' on two occasions, which is no small feat, and has stood second to him on several others. She has won over £500 actual this season. She finshed second to Clippy in the Scottish League tables 2011 70cms, and fourth below him in the 80cms.
She has come out of her shell and is blossoming into a cracking prospect for the future and the bigger tracks. Currently jumping 90 +cms in competition (1m + at home).

Sports Trilogy or T2 to his friends... - the pony with the broken leg and 'loose screw'.
T2 came to us in the summer of 2010, and although a bit of a nutter was extremely lovable.
However, he and Xander oddly enough bonded and were on track for an (exceedingly fast) competitive future.
Unfortunately, T2 broke his elbow in October 2010 whilst playing in the field. As we could not see the wee guy a cripple, and euthanasia was absolute no, we took the option of having a metal plate and screws inserted into his leg (by Clyde vet).
Fourteen months later (of wall climbing box rest), T2 is back out competing!
He was placed third in his debut performace at the Rowallan Hogmanay Show 2011/12, and has been placed in all other outings since.
Please look out for him - he's the pony which looks as if its got a screw loose...

He is honest and brave with a willing, fantastic nature.
Good x-rays, and as above,
impeccable manners.
Hopefully, we can see him out at some soon - maybe Xander will jump him children on horses!
Stallions
Colkitto is by, arguably, the best son of Sandro Hit - Sunny Boy (see photos below) Blend this with his dam, a very beautiful daughter of Lancet (see below) and you are guaranteed an outstanding young stallion.
With movement , power and grace befitting his Olympic bloodlines, and an outstanding. natural jumping ability, we have had great pleasure to date in breeding and producing this dazzling young horse.
He is a delight to handle and is of an exceptionally good nature. He is bold but kind and lends great presence to a stable block.
He has good xrays and endoscope.

We are a family orientated yard.
We breed and produce horses because it is our passion, not our business.
On account of this, we can therefore take our time to produce each individual horse to optimise their ability, confidence and good nature.
We are not in this for quick bucks!
Every horse and pony upon our yard, broken or unbroken, is taught manners and receives regular care including hoof maintenance, teeth attention, vaccination, worming, general health care .
